Material Handler

Responsible for receiving, storing, moving, and distributing materials throughout the warehouse or production facility. Duties include loading and unloading shipments, picking and packing orders, transporting materials to designated areas, maintaining inventory accuracy, and operating equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts. Ensures materials are handled safely and efficiently while following company policies and safety procedures. Maintains a clean and organized work environment and assists with inventory counts as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Previous warehouse experience preferred
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Basic inventory and organizational skills

Office hours: 7am to 3:30 pm, 30 mins. Lunch break (Mon-Fri)

Rate:   $21.00 an hour


Key Responsibilities

Ensure timely and accurate processing of incoming customer payments.

Receive, verify, and post accounts receivable transactions within the accounting system.

Partner with Customer Sales Representatives to investigate and resolve account discrepancies.

Process Model N account creation and maintenance requests.

Review, validate, and process Ship and Debit claims and related reclaims.

Process customer credit requests, invoice extensions, inventory adjustment corrections, and related transactions.

Verify budget monitoring and customer reclaim activity.

Monitor past-due accounts and prepare reporting for AR insurance.

Maintain accurate accounting records and department documentation.

Perform general administrative duties, including filing, document preparation, scanning, and record management.

Assist with special accounting projects and process improvement initiatives.


Qualifications

Minimum of 1-2 years in Administrative or Financial work 

Experience working in a multinational or global organization is preferred.


Experience with the following systems is preferred:

SAP HANA

SAP Concur

Microsoft Excel (intermediate to advanced)

Microsoft Office Suite

  • Assemble SMT and TH components on various types of printed circuit boards, using hand-held soldering stations.
  • Rework and install fine pitch components under microscope magnification.
  • Identify component types and polarities.
  • Read and utilize Bill of Materials (BOM) and Assembly Drawings.
  • Keep area clean and free of all non-essential tools and components.
  • Understand and adhere to ESD & ISO procedures.
  • Must be able to solder RoHS and Non-RoHS.
  • Ensure quality of work/product is maintained to standards.
  • Must be capable of performing solder touch ups.
  • Knowledge of IPC-610 Acceptability of Electronic Assemblies (experience required)
  • IPC-7711 Rework of Electronic Assemblies (experience required)
  • Capable of following process on travelers and providing input for DFM.

Knowledge and Skill:

  • High school or equivalent.
  • Must be able to understand, speak and read English. As well as articulate any issues
  • that arise while working on a PCBA.

Physical Requirements:

  • Must be in good health and be able to use both hands.

  • Review and sign company certifications as required

Education and/or experience:

  • General computer knowledge (locating & opening and updating files)
  • MS Excel (enter info and format cells)
  • Basic math skills
  • Ability to Speak, Write, Read and understand English
  • Good communications skills

Perform an array of functions that may include receiving and processing incoming stock and materials, picking and filling orders from stock, packing and shipping orders, or managing, organizing and retrieving stock in the warehouse.

Essential duties and responsibilities

• Assist shipping and receiving unloading trucks and checking in merchandise

• Prepares orders by processing requests and supply orders; pulling materials; packing boxes; placing orders in delivery area

• Sort and place materials or items on racks, shelves or in bins according to organizational standards
